Data Engineer 3+ years of experience as a data engineer, with a focus on Python.
Proven experience with Apache Spark in production environments.
Strong background in backend development using Python.
Deep understanding of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, EMR.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline architecture.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes - an advantage.
Experience with front-end development using React.js - an advantage.
Previous work in data-centric startups - an advantage.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g. IaC, monitoring, automation) - an advantage.

Experience extracting, ingesting, and transforming large data sets
Experience with working with multiple kinds of databases (relational, document storage, key-value, time-series) and their associated query languages - specifically understanding when to use one vs. another
Experience with big data platforms such as Spark, Databricks, and Kafka as a streaming bus
Experience utilizing enterprise data warehousing systems such as Redshift or Snowflake
AI-savvy: comfortable working with AI tools and staying ahead of emerging trends.
